Meet Katrine Andersen, the latest addition to our Customer Success team! Boasting a diverse background that includes working at a market research startup in New York, a Master's degree in Business Analytics, and a role in client services in Oslo, she brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for customer success to our team. Tell us a bit about yourself!

Eight years ago I pursued my dream of studying in the United States, by 2018 I had completed my bachelors degree in Business Management, and worked as an account manager at a market research start up in New York City. After a year I moved to Oslo and ended up at Tripletex, working as a customer service representative for their accounting firm partners. It was an incredibly fast paced environment where I grew a lot personally and professionally, and gained some awesome experiences and life long friendships.

I was happy and content, but looking for another challenge - in September 2022 I went back to New York for a masters degree in Business Analytics. I had always wanted to pursue a masters degree, and this one year program was a great chance. At this point I felt like I had all the experience and tools I needed to choose a path that I would really love. I am passionate about building solid relationships with clients, and I enjoy getting to know new people and making their jobs easier.


Why did you want to join the Marketer team?

I was looking for yet another challenge, and I had long been interested in the property industry. Technology is such a central part of our life and something that I really enjoy working with, and Marketer had the perfect opportunity to combine both property and technology. Every day we are moving from manual processes to digitized ones, and if you’re not moving forward you’re moving backwards.

Marketer is changing the property landscape and it’s such an exciting journey to be a part of. From my very first meeting with the company I had a great first impression; their mission, values and culture closely aligned with my own, and I was very excited when I got the opportunity to work with such a great company.

How has your onboarding experience been so far?

It’s been great so far! I’ve learned so much about the product and industry, and everyone’s been so welcoming. I learn best by doing, so they’re giving me all the responsibility I want and feel comfortable with, while guiding me along the way.


If you had to teach a class on one thing, what would you teach?

I would probably teach something within customer relations and customer service. Knowing how to speak to customer service professionals and how to speak to customers/clients is a very valuable skill. Most of the time your business revolves around building relationships, both internally within the company and externally.

In my opinion, everyone should at least try to work within customer service, to see what it’s like to be on the other side of those requests. Being kind and polite is probably a great start, the rest you can learn in my class.
